To seek refuge at the nearest evacuation site, you first need to get out of your house safely. Plan out the evacuation routes from your home in advance.

●You may not be able to open the front door of your house after an earthquake. You will therefore need to prepare several alternate escape routes from your building.
　
●Never obstruct escape routes with objects.
　
●Earthquakes may strike while you sleep. Keep a flashlight and slippers by your futon or bed.
　
●Prepare an emergency ladder for escapes from the 2nd floor and above.
